208A1 The Dali emergency test and monitoring unit enables central testing and monitoring of emergency lighting battery packs with the unique advantage of feeding information directly back on the Dali buswire.
The unit contains an integral relay providing a “maintained” supply to the emergency battery pack. Upon receipt of an emergency test command the relay opens simulating mains failure and causing the luminaire invertor pack to swap to battery supply. At the same time the module measures the output of the emergency luminaire battery and relays performance data along the Dali bus to the lighting control module and the head-end PC for logging and report analysis.
